This
unique trek leads you to the home of the legendary Sherpa people, on the foothill of the highest peak of
the world, the Mt. Everest at 8848 m. This 18 days trek
follows the highly praised trekking route through the Dudh Koshi to its source the Gokyo Lake to the west of
the Everest Base Camp. The excellent trek give the
benefit to summit Gokyo peak (5483 m) offering a
fantastic panoramic view of Cho Oyo, Everest, Makalu
etc. During traveling through Khumbu Himal, Gokyo valley
and pass, one is rewarded with some of the most dramatic

route via
high pass into Khumbu i.e. Cho La pass at 5330 m. As we cross
the Cho-La pass, we then return back to Lukla following the
route through Everest Base Camp, Kala Pathar and Thyangboche
monastery, Khumjung village, Namche Bazar. This ideal trek
gives enough opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking view of
Everest including several other similar peaks and to explore
the Buddhists monasteries located at the world's highest
elevation. |

Gokyo Lake - Chola
Pass - EBC Trekking Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Kathandu (Arrival)
Arrival at Kathmandu Airport. You will be met by our
Representative, and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu
Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley (Pashupatinath
Temple, Bodhanath, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu durbar
square). Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding
Morning drive to airport and 30 minutes flight to Lukla (2804
m) and trek to Phakding (2610 m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 04: Phakding - Namche Bazaar
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3535 m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 05: Namche Bazaar
Acclimatization day. Today we hike up the Syangboche Airport,
and around Everest View Hotel. From this point, we can see
rewarding views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise or
sunset over the panorama of the Khumbu peaks. Overnight at
Guest House.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar - Phorste Drengka
Trek to Phorste Drengka (3675 m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 07: Phorste Drengka - Machherma
Trek to Machherma (4470 m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 08: Machherma - Gokyo
Trek to Gokyo (4790 m). Overnight at Guest House.
Day 09: Gokyo
This day early in the morning we have steep climb up to the
top of Gokyo Ri (5483m) ample rewards to one attempts this
trip. There are stunning views of the supper Gokyo valley, the
massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an incredible panoramic view of
the whole Khumbu Himalayas, such as giants as Everest, Lhotse,
Nuptse, Makalu (8481m), Cho-Oyu (8153m) and Gychung Kang (7922
m) can be seen. Those who explore the glacier and Gokyo peak
are rewarded. This day we have for acclimatization and after
noon back to the camp. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 10: Gokyo
Hiking to 4th & 5th lakes (north of Gokyo Valley), and back to
Gokyo Lake. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 11: Gokyo - Thangna
Trek to Thangna (foot of the Cho-La pass). Overnight at Guest
House.
Day 12: Thangna - Dzongla
Cross Cho-La pass (5330 m), and trek down to Dzongla (4830 m).
Overnight at Guest House.
Day 13: Dzongla - Labuje
Trek to Labuje (4910 m). It is an easy day walking to Labuje.
Overnight at Guest House.
Day 14: Labuje - Ghorakshep - Kalapathar - Ghorakshep
Today early in the morning we will leave Labuje and hike up to
Ghorakshep (5160m.) and Kalapathar (5545m), and return to
Ghorakshep. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 15: Ghorakshep - Everest Base Camp - Ghorakshep -
Labuje
Early in the morning leaving Ghorakshep, we will head up to
Everest Base camp (5400 m), and return to Ghorakshep or walk
further down to Labuje. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 16: Labuje - Tyangboche
Trek to Tyangboche monastery. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 17: Tyangboche - Khumjung
Trek to Khumjung village. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 18: Khumjung - Phakding
Trek to Phakding. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 19: Phakding - Lukla
Trek to Lukla. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 20: Lukla - Kathmandu
Morning flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 21: Kathmandu
Leisure day in Kathmandu (it's also spare day incase of bad
weather in Lukla). Overnight at hotel.
Day 22: Kathmandu (Departure)
Transfer to Airport for your home departure.
